Philosophy
David Lee, at the age of 10, immigrated to the United States from
South Korea in 1982 and lived in Thousand Oaks, California, since 1984. Growing up, he noticed a large discrepancy in healthy eating and its relationship to chronic diseases that are still rampant today.
An active interest of his has always been to reduce chronic diseases
that are brought on unnecessarily. Through Oriental medicine, he discovered two ways to empower his patients to be proactive in treating and preventing their own diseases. They are adjustment of diet according to the individual’s
body type and placing magnets on acupuncture points. Anyone can participate in enhancing her or his own health by empowering the body to heal itself rather than to take medications only to control the problems. These
are ground breaking developments a person can easily learn to treat any condition that dietary adjustment and acupuncture are known to treat.
His hope is for these to be common practice in people’s homes.
Healthy eating will prevent and treat chronic diseases. Magnet therapy will treat common problems such as asthma, colds/flus, aches, and pains.

Theory
David Lee
practices a body type approach for both diagnosis and treatment. There
are four body types, each having its own distinctive mind, body, and
biology. Treatment for each body type results in a holistic improvement,
which means multiple problems improve at the same time. Everyone has
one of the four torso shapes (from shoulder to pelvis) below:
Identifying
the torso shape is one of many diagnostic methods used at this
clinic. Other methods include questionnaires and
person-to-person communication.
